Code of Conduct

Our mission is to provide a safe educational environment where students are encouraged to develop lifelong learning skills that nurture positive attitude and self worth. The environment we provide and continually strive to improve upon is founded on the following values and beliefs we hold very dear and which we believe are characteristic of all Members of the Rosebud School Community.

Honesty in work

Speak the truth and act honestly Accomplish success through hard work not by lies, cheat and deceit Show integrity at work and give credit to others for their work

Sincerity in relationships

Be worthy of being counted and dependable upon Be open and genuine free of hypocrisy or pretense Be kind; Be considerate; Be encouraging Help others when in need Fulfill your commitments

Respect for self and others.

Treat other as you would like them to treat you Treat everyone with respect and dignity Take care of yourself and live a healthy, purposeful lifestyle Use manners and be polite. Respect your teachers in and outside School. Be thankful to your parents, guardians or sponsors for providing you with education Exhibit a positive, cooperative attitude about School and education Accept others for who they are without any prejudice Respect the differences in human beings Act always in a manner that enhances the safety, freedom and well-being of others

Adherence to regulations

Abide by the rules and regulations of the School and the Nation Participate in the enforcement of established rules and regulation

Responsibility for one's actions

Assume responsibility for your actions by accepting consequences, positive or negative Be a responsible member of the School community and of the society as a whole

Learning from mistakes

Accept mistakes as a part of the learning process Learn from your mistakes and learn not to repeat them

Care for resources

Respect the property of others Keep your School clean, do not litter or deface Use resources available at School wisely and productively Cooperate in the maintenance of the School's resources Realize that the resources available in School are not only meant for you but for the entire School community

A questioning spirit

Do not be afraid to ask questions Participate in class room and other school activities Think critically and creatively Respect the differences in opinion

A comprehensive code of conduct outlining student discipline guidelines, acceptable student behavior at Rosebud School and consequences for violations of school rules can be downloaded here. All students, parents and guardians are advised to read the Code of Conduct.
